2014 Regional Seminar Recap
The Eastern Seminar took place in Orlando, Fla. April 7-8, while the Western Seminar followed suit on April 28-29 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Buzz about these events started early:
Your VRMA Board of Directors kicked off the Eastern Seminar by meeting to review VRMA's strategic priorities...
...while other attendees had time for a little fun before the seminar started.
Both Seminars kicked off with general sessions discussing how to proactively work with local governments to prevent unfair regulations. The Eastern Seminar focused specifically on efforts in Florida, while the Western Seminar provided case studies from communities across the U.S.

Following these informative sessions, it was time for Ask An Expert, which provided additional networking opportunities. Attendees broke into small discussion groups based on the topics that affected them most. Each discussion group was facilitated by a discussion leader who was an expert in that specific topic:
Both Seminars featured sold-out Vendor Showcases, allowing managers to have access to more tools, connections and resources to maximize efficiency and boost revenue.
With the record crowds came additional opportunities for networking. Here are just a few of the highlights:
And of course, with a record 21 educational sessions offered at each Seminar, there were plenty of takeaways for all attendees.

Lots of great ideas at #vrmawest . Almost TOO much. Just kidding, there's never too many good ideas.
The Seminars closed with a keynote from Aaron Wolowiec, who helped attendees formulate an action plan based on their seminar takeaways.
All of this added up to two record-breaking Regional Seminars:
New record for #vrmaeast! 502 attendees!— VRMA (@vrma) April 8, 2014
