OVERVIEW The VRMA is the professional trade association of the vacation rental property management and hospitality industries. Membership includes hundreds of the most well established vacation rental managers and suppliers worldwide, representing tens of thousands of professionally managed vacation rentals, condos and villas.

Vacation rentals provide significant cost savings versus other lodging, with inherent values that remain unmatched. They afford travelers an accommodations lifestyle unlike any other, with considerably more space, amenities, guest services, and privacy than other lodging options.
INITIATIVES Public Awareness

The VRMA serves as the voice for the professionally managed vacation rental industry through its public awareness initiative, Discover Vacation Homes (DVH). The only collaborative effort of its kind, DVH works to promote vacation rentals as one of North America’s fastest-growing lodging categories.

As part of VRMA's public awaress intiative, the association launched the reality travel show Getting Away Together in 2011. The series shows diverse groups of real travelers vacationing together in some of the most fascinating destinations and staying at spectacular vacation rental properties across America. The show's first season aried on PBS member stations nationwide, reaching nearly 70 percent of U.S. households. Season Two is currently in production. 
 

Education & Events

The association also organizes and brings together its vacation rental manager members four times per year, providing educational sessions on topics such as marketing, housekeeping, maintenance, owner relations, revenue management and more.

MEMBERS With the strength of hundreds of members, the VRMA upholds a code of ethics and business practices to ensure guests are provided a quality lodging experience. Most vacation rentals available through the VRMA’s members are privately owned, while association members manage the rental, maintenance and administration processes.

LODGING Association members offer fully furnished vacation rentals (condos, villas and homes) to travelers, their friends and families in destinations of all types, including ski areas, beaches, theme parks, mountains, national parks, locales off the beaten path, and many other desired vacation experiences.

When renting from a professional management company, guests experience the benefits of a traditional hotel stay with additional amenities, services and an inherent value that remain unmatched.
